There is another important aspect that governs all altars. All attendants to an altar receive their food or provision from God or the demon-god over the altar they serve. In the sixth chapter of Matthew's gospel, Jesus admonished his disciples not to worry about what they are going to eat or what they will wear. Why? Jesus knew this principle of altars. Most importantly, the menu at any altar is determined by God or the idol (demon-god) behind the altar.
That is why an attendant to the altar of the LORD feeds on righteousness, peace, joy, love, godly prosperity, long-suffering, and so forth. However, any attendant to the altar of an idol also eats what the demon-god eats. Consequently, if the idol is a demon of sexual perversion, the attendant will feast on pornography, fornication, adultery, masturbation, even pedophilia in certain instances. Why? Because according to the law of altars, God, or the idol behind the altar, determines the menu. One of the quickest ways to determine whether a person is serving God or an idol is to note what they are addicted to. An addict is simply a human attendant to an altar of addiction in their soul, so when the idol behind the altar is hungry, these people will start looking for the food (drugs, alcohol, heroin or gambling, etc.) the idol eats. The idol will riot to such an extent that these people will not rest until the idol is fed!
